I think that if the division between light and dark was angled, this would be a more interesting shot. could be a bit sharper but it seems as though this is on the edge of becoming grainy

I gotta say, tears welled up big time when I saw this pic. I didn't even have to read the story behind it to get this emotion. My first son was born a month ago. Healthy child indeed and not a problem to even mention. I would not even want to begin to imagine your feelings at the time that pic was taken. Odd thing is, several months ago I wouldn't have given this shot a second look. Amazing what a new life will do a man's selfishness.

So glad to know your son is doing great now.

Hard thing to expose correctly without losing detail or blowing highlights. The white side looks just a bit bluish gray in the background. It does make for an interesting abstract.
