Being the adventures of a young manby Elvis_LComment by Ivory: Nice composition and the pure blacks make it standout, however wish there was more detail on the pants and the young mans face, more highlights may have made him stand out more and perhaps give this more impact. Without the highlights shadows and definition it is just a little flat in my opinion. |

D U N C Eby Elvis_LComment by Jutilda: ROFL. FUNNY. Something about the colors in the background. I wonder if you could have done a legal saturation of only the orange in basic. Or maybe have the whoe shot in BW. Hmmmm - not sure. |

The Fragileby Elvis_LComment by Ivory: Wow, that brings back memories. My son Cy was born 13 weeks early and had additional problems as well as being a premature baby. He came home at 4 months, oxygen for almost a year, gavage fed for 8 months and apnia monitors for a year, his wieght was a little over a pound. Now he is 14, 5 foot 11 inches and none of the things they said would be wrong have come to pass. He is healthy happy and one of the real joy's of my life. There are a few pic's of him in my portfolio and one here a free study just a short while ago,
Good luck to you and just know one thing which I am sure you do already it is all so worth it! |

The Fragileby Elvis_LComment by Marella: Hi, this image made me cry, it's decribes so well all the things that go on when these things happen. My sister had a boy 16 weeks premature as well, he waight only 700 gramms and we were told he would not survive the night. Well he'll be 7 in febuary and he's doing so good! My sister was only 17 when she had him, they had to stay in the hospital for 3 months and during that time she and her boyfriend lost two of they best friends in car accidents. They are the stongest people i know and i love them so :) Any way here's a recent picture of Jón Karl (born only 700 gr)and his 10 month old brother Tristan Freyr.
