It's King NOT Koontz!by MartusComment by PennyStreet: A classic film. And I rather like the poster - great job! Too bad you got the name wrong. Did you know Margaret Atwood wrote a book with the same title? |

Duality by MartusComment by kanaj: Figured this would place first. :-) It's always nice seeing an unfamiliar face in an experimental portrait like this. I responded to this one immediately. And this is no slight whatsoever, but my first thought was actually how much this reminded me of the original Warcraft video game cover graphic. It has that visceral, battle-ready intensity to it. Congrats! |

Duality by MartusComment by Martus: Wow! A few weeks ago, I won my first ribbon ever. Now I have one of each!
I was very reluctant to enter this and almost hit the un-submit button more than a few times. |

Duality by MartusComment by ExposureTherapy: I'm a little scared, but I'm not mad at it. The more I look at it, the more nuance I see in the lighting. I like this take on the challenge. |

Misty Morning by MartusComment by kanaj: The depth of this image is really conveyed by its intersecting planes of layers. You have the vertical layering of foreground, horizon, and sky, of course. But then there's also the lateral layering of shoreline and cascading tide, plus the depth layering of the shore and hillsides along the vanishing point. Supremely well seen for this challenge. |
