I have nothing to offer from a technical stand point, other than the area in focus takes away from the overal soft feeling, see below.

To me this is a piece of art, so I will tell you what I like. The composition is fantastic, with the lower portion dominating the initial experience but supported by the moon (at least I view it as a moon). Very soothing, peaceful color with soft contrast. Very well done.

Yeah, I'm afraid it does look pretty fake :-( But I bet if you kept the original as a layer underneath this, then did some masking on this to reveal a bit of the orginal focused, then maybe swirled that motion blur a bit you could come closer to a lensbaby look. Still no replacement though :-)

Gennaro, kudos to you for trying to replicate the LB but you have to go out and buy one to understand its true beauty ;)
