Nice subject, but shooting into the sun is poor practice. Both the strange little white fleck in the center (a lens flare spot), and the washed out left side are results of this. Additionally, the trees in the background are "growing" out of the tank on the firetruck: the framing of the subject is nice, but the overall composition is lacking in attention to detail. Keep at it -- you have an eye for it.

I really like the exposition. It's not too bright but we're able to see a lot of details, unlike many of these too contrasted type of shots. (7)

Good: Lots of sharp details and excellent focus on the engine. Background is a bit blurry like the trees but not too bad.

Bad: Appears to be overexposed. Hues and tones seem a bit unnatural.

Nice choice of B&W; I think it would have been better not to clip the front of the train at the bottom, and possibly to have a little less tight crop there.
