This would have got a much, much higher score from me if it wasn't for the very visible 'halo' around the lower side of the hands. It is also a shame that the child's finger nails are not clean - a minor detail, but one that does have an effect on the viewer. Nonetheless, a very pleasing composition.

Nicely done with the tight crop. I think this one might work better if it had a different color background to offset the color of the hands a little more. Also seems like there is a slight halo around the hands, especially to the left side. A product of resize or sharpening?
