This is interesting and a little strange at the same time. First, it's a very nice composition. I wish the rose 'bud' center area had a little more DOF and focus. As for the strange part...it seems weird to see beads of water in color on a B/W image. JMO of course. Maybe if it was a red rose initially instead of an orange/yellow one? Nice effort on isolating the selected drops in a seamless manner. Best of luck to you in the challenge.

I like your thinking on this shot. The "geometry" or architecture is interesting - especially the functional aspects. The black and white does bring focus to the shape and I like the framing.
