I agree with your comments that this turned out too dark, and with another commentor that the lower half of the image adds a bit too much negative space.

If you were trying to show the seeds as buttons, I'd like to see if a more diagonal composition would work better.

I totally get the Beatle's song reference. I'm sorry you had to experience the angst of it. I paused a moment for all who fell victim and it actually has an effect on all of us.... unfortunately.

The single saturation of green has a significance somehow in the chaos of the story. Green is life, green is earth... green is the color of your eye for seeing more than meets it.

To me this is compositional mayhem. My eyes spin around the frame, not able to find a path. You have lines, alright, but they compete for leading all over the place, and none dominate.
