Lil' Brown Noserby HavokComment by frisca: seems a wee dark/underexposed (but it could be my monitor). Really like the placement of your subject in the frame..if you had to crop, you made an excellent choice! DOF adds a lot of interest too. |

Lil' Brown Noserby HavokComment by moodville: I like the dof to isolate the head - he looks like he is winking. I also like the earthy tones and the green contrasts nicely. Good texture on the head and seems fairly sharp too. |

These little mannequins are great learning tools, the tough part is trying to use them in an original way....which is something I still need to do.
Glad you like the photo, although I was a bit dissapointed with my placing I figure if a few people like it then the placement doesn't matter.
Thanks for taking the time to comment on my entry everyone. |

Every Heartby HavokComment by Imagineer: Manikins have been done to death, but this does still work. On this site at least it helps not to anaesthetise the audince with overtly familiar subjects. After all what's it really trying to say anyway? What's the metaphor here? Subject is a little low in the composition - nice tones. |

Onyx SPby HavokComment by Bran-O-Rama: Interesting composition but the contrast is a bit harsh as the bottom half of the gameboy almost disappears into the shadow. Not sure I would've cropped that much off the sides as well (specifically the left), especially if this were for an advertisement. |

Every Heartby HavokComment by redmoon: sweet, endearing, bloody well taken shot this is. i love the focus and the dark lighting. the red heart is a brilliant choice of subject for a challenge of this type - and unlike maky shots here, t looks like it has been done for a reason to really draw ones attention to something specific. 10. |

Every Heartby HavokComment by jenesis: Beautiful! Love the simplicity and subtleness of this shot. The composition is good and it is not overpowering, makes just the right statement. |
