i dont think it needs to be sharper but lighter on the whites is all i would do to this. The subjects are perfectly placed and i think in focus, just a little lighter on the whites.

Hmmm.... I just don't like the lighting much.. I also hate to say it, but the Tatoo on the arm takes away from the picture for me. The top right part of the photo feels empty. Cute kid though, and I am asking myself why.... :)

The blown out windows/openings behind the bird are very distracting. Perhaps there was/is another angle to shoot from that doesn't put blinding spots of light behind the beast?

Good detail on its face. Good use of dof to pull the attention to it.

Nice crop/composition with the exception of clipping off part of its lower jaw.
