Have come back for a second look,and see you have jagged edges on the planks & right hand rails, this occurrs after sharpening sometimes,and is best removed by zooming 1 step, but deserves an... 8

very nice detail without over sharpening. the lighting draws your eye to the top third of the thimble which adds interest and depth.

I think if you tried to make a macro shot of the pattern, it would help a lot. Now it is just an isolated object and not very inetersting. The off-centered composition helps definately.
