The Storm (BASIC editing)by talikfComment by bassbone: Yikes - I am glad you weren't on that point! Nice image - but I would think that making the statement so matter of factly that you did this in "Basic" is probably causing your score to suffer. I like it 8 |

The Storm (BASIC editing)by talikfComment by meyers: Spectacular! I'm sure you'll get all kinds of comments about how well everything is lit.. The marina in the foreground provides a depth often lacking in lightning captures. |

Day 19by talikfComment by TDCollins: What an adorable photo. I agree with everybody about the smile. I think a little interaction between the boy and the dog would work real well also. I think Erin summed it up perfectly. At any rate, it's a wonderful photo. |

Day 19by talikfComment by ErinM: Why is it that so many people feel a child has to be smiling for a picture to be good? It's so often more effective to capture those other little nuances of personality. I find it cute how the boy is linking his little toes together, and how the puppy is apparently taking an interest in that too. I really don't think that the boy looks sad, but he might come across to some as being slightly uncomfortable. Perhaps this was the type of photo session where he needed to be given lots of opportunity to just play and interact naturally with the puppy as you took loads of pictues. Both the boy and the puppy are adorable...even without smiles. :) |
