Hogsby bspurgeonComment by hajeka: Beautiful bikes. I like the contrast and the eating man in the middle. |

Baxby bspurgeonComment by hajeka: Very nice looking portrait, but I think (as you said yourself) he will choose the colored version. Hope you don't mind saying this, but I think the focus should be more on his eyes than on his neck (see eg. shalrath portrait of this week) |

Boy and Dogby bspurgeonComment by bspurgeon: Thanks for the feedback. I agree about the muzzle. Hopefully I'll go back and reprocess it, I need a clone! |

Midnight Climberby bspurgeonComment by colorcarnival: I really thought this would have finished higher. The look on his face makes us wonder whether he is looking at the sky or is condering whaterver predicament he may be in lol. I like this - it's so different from you! Quite artsy :) |

Not Worth the Effortby bspurgeonComment by bspurgeon: Steps submitted: crop, exposure, wb in LR2, export to CS4, photokit sharpening to snail with mask, two curves adjustmet, hue/sat adjustment to master, created border, added text, resized.
When I created this poster I made an attempt to enter at the 200 file size limit, when it was rejected I realized it was a basic challenge. I remade the poster under the basic ruleset. Global USM produced the nearly the same results but with more artifact in the snail.
Lesson for me: keep a copy with the layers or write down the steps. If I had that I would not have made that error.
