not sure the setup of the shoes works for me. That said I suck at that kind of thing myself so I'd have no idea how to improve upon it. Beyond that I think you nailed the effect I'm guessing you were going for - soft where it should be, sharp where it should be, well exposed with a nice vignette that draws me to the important parts of the photo. I might have cropped a little of the right side to offset the slipper a bit, but that's just a personal preference. nice work

Fern you say? It's nice to have some clue where these come from, so there's some context. Nice movement and rhythm. This kind of DOF makes for really abstract captures, very interesting experiments. Good stuff.
