leaking thoughtsby bspurgeonComment by bvy: I tend to leave such effects in the hands of less capable cameras. Light seal kits for the XA cameras can be had pretty reasonably. It's a DIY job as well. You won't have a Leica when you're done, but possibly the next best thing.
I do like this though. Feels like the California sun... Message edited by author 2012-05-22 07:38:43. |

morning playby bspurgeonComment by muur88: I've often wondered why, with all the crap they have to put up with (including a steady diet of Luchablesâ„¢), there aren't more serial killers who are children...perhaps they just haven't been subjected to enough nightly news yet. |

saint george and the dragonby bspurgeonComment by hahn23: Shooting from inside to the bright outside is a unique take on AA style. The 10 camera stop dynamic range of that situation would have been frustrating to efforts to dodge and burn away in the darkroom. To my eyes, there is good sharpness and detail in the sculpted wood and burlap window treatment. But, the clarity and sharpness fall off in the window panes and frame, indicating a too shallow DOF. I do find detail in the darkest shadows. |

morning playby bspurgeonComment by tvsometime: Back when color television was new and difficult to tune to good color, it could look like this or worse. One day I visited my aunt who was watching her tv badly untuned and I asked her if she wanted me to fix it but she said she enjoyed it that way. |
