The sense of "moment" is present in this image and the obvious character being captured carries some visual impact. Technically, it's competantly produced which is a plus. From an artistic standpoint, it lacks impact. A worthy entry into the challenge just lacking that something special to make it stand out.

More of a lighted shot than a creative use of lighting, this image falls short of meeting the challenge criteria in several ways. While a good image, the author might have chosen to use the available lighting to create an effect rather than just a image that is actually of snapshot quality. A little more thought would have helped as there are possibilities in this image which would not only have met the criteria, but have placed high.
