ROFL. Nice title and sneaky shot of the sneaky shooter. If he steps any further back (powerful telephoto on that P&S ???) he might flip down the subway stairs :)

This definitely meets the challenge. But I am left wanting more on the subjects. Perhaps a tighter shot with the subjects filling more of the frame would do this?

Release the hounds was supposed to be a fox hunting metaphor for the beginning of the poverty challenge. Hundreds of affluent photographers running out taking photos and using equipment worth months if not years of survival for many of their subjects. I'm sure some good came out of seeing others' plights. I'm sure a lot more should have. Being far from free of blame and partaking in the event I placed myself in the photo.

yes, the affluent take photos of those who aren't. But now, even the street people have phones with cameras. The only way this could be better is if you had taken it with an iPhone.
