Dark Past Closeby facesastheycomeComment by tngrndream: huh? is in reference to the title, not the photograph. the title lacks any sentence structure (even for a title). i thought maybe there was something to it that the author might be able to elaborate upon. i see that is not the case.
even now as i type i cannot understand what dark past close means. i gave it a 2 because the title is simply 3 words only one of which describes the existing photograph. the other 2 words do not seem to connect in any way to the photograph. none of the 3 words seem to connect in any format, not even in broken english (or another language for that matter).
sorry you felt disrespected, that was not the intention. i was merely perplexed so i replied with. huh?
i now revamp my huh? to what does this mean? and i still score it a 2 |

Holly Shrineby facesastheycomeComment by balancedfox: Love the gloomy gold cloistered feeling. The pic seems to slant down on the right though, and looks quite out of focus (especially the roses). I imagine that given the dark conditions of the location, it would be very difficult to avoid this blurriness without a tripod, etc. |

Easy prayby facesastheycomeComment by MadMan2k: You have a little stuff on the lens there (or sensor). It's not really a typical portrait, and I can't really tell what the subject is supposed to be (the birds, or the people on the boat?) |

The face ( fashion and make up )by facesastheycomeComment by ellamay: Greetings from the CC
Hmm... well o n the plus side I like your subject, I like that her eyes really stand out and the splash of pink color on her skirt. You have also done a very good job getting a blurred effect/ DOF
I think you did poorly cause this is more of a portrait than PJ.
I am not sure that this compostion really works for me either. It is sort of different and creative, but I find myself wanting to turn my head to even her out. I think I would of liked it more if she were completely upside down vs. slanted. Or perhaps cropping a little bit tighter especially on the top and left about 1/2 inch.
Just some ideas. |
