 This was taken at the local monastry ,it was the shrine inside the high priest's quarters ,so i was fortunate to get a peek and a shot from it ,the gold guilded bibles are actual pure 24 carat gold ! I have not used flash in this photo and the light was realy low ,but it came out quite nice colors .

the subject is very interesting and nice use of colors but the wood beam should hav been cropped out at the right and the pic is crooked.

It's a little dark, you can't really see the paintings on the wall.

Love the gloomy gold cloistered feeling. The pic seems to slant down on the right though, and looks quite out of focus (especially the roses). I imagine that given the dark conditions of the location, it would be very difficult to avoid this blurriness without a tripod, etc.

I think it is in some way too busy, contrasty and saturated.

a little sharper focus would have worked, though I'm sure that was hard to achieve under the ligting situation.

This is a beautiful scene, invokes a feeling like a oil painting from times past. It could have been cropped a bit from the sides to better frame the subject, but overall this is a very nice photograph.
