I voted first, and now I going through to see if I can find the originals to see how I voted on the first shot.

Drat! I didn't vote on the original. I gave this one an 8 -- I like the processing much better than the original. It's more of a painting feel -- looks like something that should print quite large and hanging in a lobby somewhere.

So much going on in this image i don't know where to look, but for me thats what makes this one of the most interesting images in this challenge.

I feel the brightness of each square is a little overpowering for the subject, and her sunglasses cause a break in eye contact so I am unable to decipher her pose or facial expression. I like the contrast of the blacks.
