The composition of this doesn't do much for me. The color is disconcerting though, and I like it when a picture does more than just please the eye.

I am guessing HDR processing was used to get the tonal range here. Really effective use of it. I love the colors especially in the rocks and the sky. Good detail captured in the wood above the well.

An homage to a favorite movie, this invokes much the same feeling. While the white blooms a little and is slightly overdone, it's still effective conveying the same sense of mystery as the movie did. A little more detail in the foreground would have helped the artistic impression.
