Saint Mary's Lakeby jodiecostonComment by jodiecoston: I'm terribly humbled by all of the comparisons to Ansel Adams. It's definitely not in THAT category, but I am very pleased with this image. This is the first black and white image I've ever done that I've been really, truly happy with. The full resolution image is really full of detail taht you can't come close to seeing in this.
For those who wished it was in color, there was a haze that day that turned the distant mountains into a really ugly blue. The black and white improved it drastically. I'll post the original tomorrow so folks can see the difference.
Thank you all so much for liking the image. Now I can make my hubby take me out to dinner again since I got another ribbon! ;) |
