Routingby paynekjComment by ericwoo: You have an awesome, awesome start here, but you left it too flat and gray. A duotone image should include tones from both ends of the range, as well as most of the tones in between. This is exactly the type of subject that I wanted to shoot for this challenge, but I was far too busy this week to go hunting for it. The only thing you are lacking is contrast, thus missing the dramatic feeling that grabs the viewer's eye. Here would have been my editing take on the same subject:
While I usually try to leave some amount of detail in the shadows, the surround wall contains enough detail that I would like to see that shadow black. Well seen and well composed. A little more drama would have surely grown your vote. 6. |

That Wayby paynekjComment by retiredPhil: Probably my fault, but my eye went to the screw first. The title moved my eye on to the arrow. |

Hanging aroundby paynekjComment by h2: way underrated, was one of my highest rated shots. I like this one better than the shot on BBC. |

Stiff Little Fingersby paynekjComment by SaraR: Ha! Stiff Little Fingers were the very first band I saw, in 1978, supporting the Tom Robinson Band, just before Inflammable Material came out. Saw them again in 1979. Excellent stuff! |
