Whatever it is you're doing to the skies in these, I love it. These look like (and I'm uneducated, so I don't know the proper term) the old I want to say "tintypes" or something like that. Beautiful!

a stimulating mix of simple realism with a too-perfect arrangement of elements. I gave this a 7 and would have bumped it higher if I had had time. The title is perfect for this. It adds just the extra story needed.

When I first looked at this in our TS results posting, I though, "Do we have a new member named Icarus?" That would be a cool userid.

Anyway, about the photo -- I gave it an 8 because I like it a lot! It has an Easter feel about it with the flare of the sun and the cross effect of the outlet and horizon. I like the way the sunlight seems to flow out with the water. Sorry, I should have gone even higher on the score.
