Perfectby xianartComment by liberty: Very neat, I really like this image, I would have liked it even more if the light wasn't so harsh through the window. Great work, 7. |

Thresherby xianartComment by ssodell: Cool shot. I don't see anything lining up in the four intersections though. It would have fit better with the window more towards the middle or upper right intersection. |

Thresherby xianartComment by boyd2000: The window of course stands out and makes the "rule of thirds", though it's cropped a bit too much past the thirds. For me it's a little too dark inside and bright through the window, but perhaps that was the intent, to contrast this room with the world. |

Princess & Peaby xianartComment by purpleflutterby13: This is a really cool shot. Especially with the title, it actually makes a very good story.
There's a nice contrast here - while the title is a fairytale one, the picture is a very gritty, grainy, realist one. It makes you wonder whether the princess would still be so delicate if she was homeless and sleeping in the snow... So the picture could easily be used as an illustration of social inequality (though I assume it wasn't intended that way?).
Interesting subject matter, very good pp, works very well in B&W with all those nice shades and textures. Well done :)

Thresherby xianartComment by Spizzer: Rule of thirds doesn't jump out at me in this one. Also, subject is dark and overwhelmed by the window...my eyes keep going to it. |

April Snowby xianartComment by levyj413: Another 2-point difference between average and commenters, plus lots of comments. That says a lot.
Had I voted on this, I probably would've given it a 7 or 8. I think it's very emotive - really drives home the idea of a desolate landscape. The bird is just terrific! |

April Snowby xianartComment by posthumous: I love that you vignetted the sky separately from the ground. I'll be the first to admit that you sometimes lean on vignetting too much, but it is a fine, creative use of it here. This image is so close to nothing at all that it becomes divine. |
