by GnarfComment by S_Lanterman: this photograph is very intriguing - it makes me think of a piece of paper that was moved while in the middle of photocopying.
very cool |

"Lights in the Dusk"by GnarfComment by Efergoh: I had to come back to this photo, not sure why.
Perhaps it was my lack of understanding of it. I still don't feel that I will raise my vote much higher, but it does draw me back for consideration. I suppose that on its own makes this photo worthy of a higher vote than my initial "2"
I'm still struggling with the lighting. I'm turned off by the blown out railing on the right side, and I am not a fan of the sunlight in the upper right corner. I do appreciate the simplicity of the whole thing, and the vertical lines of the fencing and the diagonals of the shadows and how they relate to one another. I get no message from the piece, but it is good in and of itself, but not grand.
I'll raise my vote to a 5. |

"Lights in the Dusk"by GnarfComment by Rankles: Nice attempt but it just isn't ROT and the corner is blown out too much. I can see what you were tying to capture but it doesn't work as a subject at this distance. |

"Lights in the Dusk"by GnarfComment by HighNooner: This can not be dusk the shadows are very short for dusk. I say 3:47 in the afternoon.

by GnarfComment by posthumous: how do you do your black-and-white conversion? you are a master at it. |

by GnarfComment by posthumous: the blur adds to the sense of curve. this is like warped space... entering hyperspace... |
