Final Pushby FalcComment by bananashay: I like the colors/tones of this. It's like everything's faded with time since this took place. Love being able to see the one man's face, too bad there's not more of them visible. Adds a lot of emotion and interest to the piece. Not quite sure about the border...on some shots it works and I'm undecided whether this is one of them. |

Final Pushby FalcComment by colourBlind: Amazing shot that looks like it belongs in a movie - which is enhanced by your border selection. I like how the colours have been desaturated, but not completely. It gives it that 'dirty' look. |

Final Pushby FalcComment by Barry: I like this photo very much. I have been holding off on judging it because I just don't know how it fits with the challeng so here I go trying to make sense of it all.
Artistic...............7 I like all the activity in the frame and how the whole frame is being used. Lots of strong lines moving my eyes and keeping me interested
Technical......7 The overall exposure of the image is very balanced, no real big problems in seeing detail in the lightest or darkest areas. Photo doesn't seem to have come from a digital camera, believe me this is a plus as I don't like images that are over processed or photos that have focus that is "hyper".
Meets challenge description....this is the one I have been trying to deal with for the past few days with this image.....My first response to this image was that I didn't see anybody in this photo making any decision, it appears that this is one of those mindless acts of "group think", that all these worriers are just pushing foreward because the other guy in front of him was told to go foreward so if he goes I will follow.....I suppose that is a decision.....so you get a ....6 for meeting the challenge.
Average 6 but I'll push you up to 7 because I haven't seen anything in this challenge that has this subject or quality combined...... |

Milkmaid in the Meadowby FalcComment by banmorn: Very nice image in a very classic style. Like the softness of the meadow flowers and the costume on your model. Even in profile it is evident that the subject is lovely but seeing more of her visage might work better for this, IMO, as well as having the headpiece either smaller or back a bit off of her face. The crop is a bit too tight for my tastes and I would have liked to have seen more of the field about her. |
