Nice shot but would have been better if the bird was a little more focused - especially on the eyes. Oh, to answer you question, I'm sure there are many birds of prey who would love your little bird ;-)

Did you get any of the 'underappreciated' awards for this one, Patches? If you didn't, you should have. I have no idea why you didn't score higher for this image in the hotly contested Free Study category.

This is VERY hard to do and I congratulate you on first seeing what was about to happen and then capturing it so well. Did you go to the Montezuma Swamps for this one? They have a nice auto trail there. In any event, you have this one fair and square. Sharp and nicely presented in the frame.
