Best Friends by timfythetooComment by BeckyT: Now that is the interaction I was expecting to see. If I ever got off my butt I would have done something similiar but with our Shih Tzu. Love the choice of B/W tones. This should be on the front page. Beautiful. 10 |

Best Friends by timfythetooComment by Kavey: Charming portrait, beautifully composed, intimate because of the tight framing, lovely sharp detail, lovely lighting and tones. |

Growing Upby timfythetooComment by Louis: Quite an interesting and different light setup for a kid (not one I've often seen). Something like this is probably considered a no-no by people better than me, as it makes the kid look kind of menacing. What do I know, I like it. What with the decision to light one side and edge light the other, and the look on his face, this otherwise straightforward portrait takes on a different, darker meaning. Nicely put together. Other than that, and it's pleasing composition, I'm not fond of what was done in post to make it look so artificially smooth, or perhaps sharpened+denoised, or something. 7 |

Best Friends by timfythetooComment by lynnesite: Not crazy about your processing--too much noise reduction maybe? But absolutely nuts over the moment you've captured, and I like the comp/square crop. |
