Two worlds - One bus stopby timfythetooComment by DanSig: [[trading post]]
this is a nice image, but it can be better.
on the right side there is nothing of interest, so you could crop the image so both men were the same distance from the frame, that way the gap between benches hits the rule of third and those beams on the ground leads the eye in to the image towards the big tree.
everything else seems fine :)

photojournalism outtakeby timfythetooComment by glad2badad: It's certainly an interesting image. How would you have titled it? I wonder if many would have thought this was staged, like the guy on the bench is in costume or something?
As for the image, it's well composed - I like the placement given the subject. A shallower DOF would help substantially I think. It's too easy to wander away and peruse the background.
BTW - You've got a healthy set of nerves taking this shot. ;^) |

First off, I voted a 6 on this. I thought it was a great photograph and really tells a story about the division between people. What I thought could have made it better was if both benches were fully in the frame. It just seems that part of the photo was cut off. Nothing you could really do about that though without losing some of the details of the people. Great job! |
