Tom! This is BEAUTIFUL! It looks like you DID use a small aperture. I can't believe you got this kind of depth of field with an F4!! But I love the hint of softness in the grasses and hillside. I don't think I'd bemoan not using a smaller aperture too much, because this looks stunning just like it is. One of my favorites of the day for sure!

Very nice use of a wide angle lens, and suited quite well to B&W. There are those who won't like a person in the shot - to me it adds a great deal toward showing the scale of the view.
