I like how the background appears to be one big motion blur - it manages to isolate the subject in a manner true to the title: that is, amidst the torrent of yellows and greens in the background, the sharply-focused snail implies a deliberate, plodding pace. I have a feeling this will be marginalized due to its open interpretation of the challenge, but I like it. Good job.

The eyes are great, but the crop seems too close for me. Just a little more of the mouth/lips would have been more appealing. I think it would have balanced better with the fact you included all of the eyebrow on the upper right. Other than that, good job.

There is no question thst the eyes are stunning. The image is very aptly titled. Beyond the eyes, the tonal range is very nice, but I don't care for the slight yellow/green hue in the browns. Also the crop is a touch awkward for my taste, particularly the way the lip is clipped. But, it is worth repeating: the eyes are GORGEOUS.
