A unique vision. I haven't seen anything quite like it. You've made something mysterious and ethereal out of what could have been a pretty pedestrian image. Hope it does well.

I'm a sucker for these types of shots. Love the candidness, rays of light, and sheer joy of the children. The fact you have clarity in some areas and just a slight silhouette in others adds to the appeal. NICE!

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.

Positives: I really like this shot - the coloration and light are tremendous, there are a number of compelling elements and actually, if I really look, I think there are a multitude of editing possibilities here.

Critical stuff: Nothing really, your choices are fine. I think I'd have been tempted to crop down to the child more, taking out the dancers to the right - I think the context becomes very ambiguous than and the mystery (and thus story) of the image is enhanced.

Overall: A highly interesting image.

This is a great shot! I would love to see how this would look slightly darker and in B&W - ie showing more of a silhouette with that lovely lighting.
