Interesting use of fireworks and some kind of model/figurine. I think the nightmare aspect might have been pulled off a little bit better if the weapon had been silhouetted just a bit more --a s it is you can see he's holding something, but whatever it is is a bit indistinct. I'm not sure if it would work, but did you try a vertical composition? Or maybe including the figure at a sharp angle?
