Stopped In It's Tracks by timj351Comment by Gotcha: This is my favorite photo for this challenge. I love the color. My only comment would be that the sky on the right side is just a little too light. But I think its because of the white background. With a matting & frame, Perfect. - 10 |

Stopped In It's Tracks by timj351Comment by Swashbuckler: Very nice! I like the full range of colors in this shot (what no reds?) I especially like the dark cloud looming, nice touch! The angle of the shot is very interesting and almost perfectly framed (cut off part of the front tire and the top of the exhaust). Plus I wish I could see the tool attached to the back of the tractor, but I am thinking that might have introduced other issues/problems. 9 Swash |

Stopped In It's Tracks by timj351Comment by courtenay27: I really like this photo. It has a nice nature v. technology thing going on with the tall, green grasses and dandelions along with the sky which forecasts an impending storm approaching from the left of the frame all situated around the rusted old tractor filling most of the frame. There's tension and an anticipation of the coming weather which, in the past, has helped give the tractor it's old look so it's more than just a "product shot" of an old tractor. Great timing and great eye. The only thing I would note is the pavement, fence and car on the far right which serves as the only point of distraction. |

Stopped In It's Tracks by timj351Comment by lamedos: I love this picture, can't be specific as to why, just do. Only negative (and it's really being picky) - I feel there's too much difference in the sky between the left and right sides. Are those storm clouds? maybe having waited a few minutes until the whole sky was a unifrom shade - all clouds would have added even more impact to the shot. - lamedos |
