Yes, this is a picture of BLUE silly putty. I had just gotten my camera (first one ever) and wanted to at least enter something in the current contest! I threw this shot together without a tripod and without proper lighting. The shot was created by placing a blue towel over top of the power bar I had sitting on my dresser and adding the silly putty to the scene. Not bad for a first attempt, but I will have better things to offer soon I hope! ;)

There's a little too much negative space in this photo for my taste. I would have preferred a closer shot. I wonder if it would have been more interesting if you had put a blue ball or something round in the silly putty as if it were a yolk.
