Very nice arm gesture. It is echoed in the structure in the backround, too.

Agree with Kronus, love the reflection but I am not really all that fond of the empty space around the wasp, I would have either wanted a tighet framing or crop if your lens doesn´t allow you to get closer than this. If you still want the negative space wich I am not totally against, I would try composing it not so centrally.

Come to think of it, both images you shown me have been a bit too centered for my taste. If I may offer you some advice I would definately get down and study the rule of thirds composition and try using just that for a month or so you know it really well and then move on after you have done so. It´s after all just a "guideline" but a good one and worth knowing.

Not a bad shot but honestly, I would probably have given this a 5 in this challenge as I don´t really find it that interesting either. To improve it I would crop out the petals that sneak into the frame from above, compose it more according to the rule of thirds and watch the highlights on the flower, I haven´t checked with a histogram verification but they seem blown out to me, if you use raw I would have darkened it there with exposure compensation and then brightened again with curves or levels or whatever you use. Had you did those three things this would have been a much better image but like I said, not bat at all :)

I like the perspective and the story this tells, but the highlights are too blown for my taste. I hope this isnt your way of 'trying' out your image before entering it for one of the challenges as it usually backfires on you for not remaining anonymous. Shame too as I think it would have worked well for either - with some correction of the highlights being blown

Stunning. Lovely capture. It is such a serene capture. The bench, the person perfectly compliment the row of tress. B/w conversion is the right decision. Bushes behind the benck (middle left) could have been avoided though.
