Great shot. Composition is great. Tones are perfect IMO. The park bench happens to be in a great location. I would say you were at the right place at the right time. Good shot.

Superb black and white shot. Has an analogue feel to it. Excellently composed, good tones. Deserves to be printed and framed very large.

From thumbnail I didnt see anything spectacular but upon opening thisup I said "Yeah baby!". Very cool shot indeed. Unfortunately it was up against one of my faves in the bump game. Or should I now say one of my other faves. Excellent work and a wonderful capture.

Edit to add - blah blah blah blown highlights blah blah blah. I wouldnt change a thing.

great shot and composition. it almost has an infrared feel to it. i would have tried to crop out the hedges on the sides. just to see if it makes a difference. just my two cents worth.

the chair balances this shop just perfectly. Its amazing how the subject is so small in the image but has such an impact. you should be proud.

I really like the perspective you have achieved with the composition of this shot. I also find the shadows also help in balancing the image as well..... I am into b/w's at the moment, and like this very much.....

I like the perspective and the story this tells, but the highlights are too blown for my taste. I hope this isnt your way of 'trying' out your image before entering it for one of the challenges as it usually backfires on you for not remaining anonymous. Shame too as I think it would have worked well for either - with some correction of the highlights being blown

Stunning. Lovely capture. It is such a serene capture. The bench, the person perfectly compliment the row of tress. B/w conversion is the right decision. Bushes behind the benck (middle left) could have been avoided though.

I like this image quite a bit. As was said below, the highlights are a bit blown out but sometimes that's actually a good thing. It works perfectly here to give me a sense of a 1940's era photograph. This is the type of shot that really grabs my attention. Good work!

It's a lovely photo. Tells a story of sorts. Has some pathos in it. A metaphor of life in general.

A very nice black and white. Highlights look a tad blown out though. You could have entered this one into either the perspective or progess challenges :)
