This is very pretty. Love the mood that the lighting creates - and it adds a nice glow to the wood too. Have you ever had a chance to get closer and take a picture square on of the statue? I bet that would be gorgeous! The only thing that is a distraction is the stuff at the top of the pic.

again, i think your score isn't reflective of the image, considering the special effects a lot of people put on theirs. however, i want to see more: more of the tree, more sky, and more of its surrounding environment. i guess it's hard to determine exactly how harsh this is. i don't mind the power lines through the moon, but they probably could have been removed easily.

i'd like to see the outtakes!

i thought this shot would have done better with the bottom 1/3 cropped off. the dynamics of the light against the wrapper on the top 2/3 are less stimulating against the "dullness" of the bottom. a bit more post-processing to emphasize the brilliance of the wrappers would have helped too.

i do think this was better than your 5.11 score, tho...

Sorry but I voted this a 4, mainly cause the subject matter isn´t interesting to me, the flare from the moon and the composition doesn´t do anything interesting for the subject.
