I think this is looking for connotations of Karma Bum road philosophy. The on-its-own Spartan profile might have benefitted from more sky and less foreground. It comes over as 'almost but not quite' to me. I like its attitude :)

Nice composition, way too much grain and noise in the photo though.

Hi! Here’s a comment from the Critique Club.

First Impression:
Nice leading lines/vanishing point. My eyes follow the lines and then back to the person on the right. Don’t see anything candid!

Composition:
Very nice lines. Dark panels in the ceiling really work well with the walls and the rest of the ceiling. The curved walls really add to the perspective. Nice to see the vanishing point off of center. Motion blur works well in setting the mood.

Subject:
Not sure it meets the challenge. Candid implies catching peoples expression when they don’t expect it. Can’t see any ones expression.

Technical:
You didn’t include any processing information so I don’t know what your camera settings were or what you were trying to achieve. B&W works well. Focus is a little soft. Some USM may have helped too.

Suggestions:
Camera settings, can usually be found by using your viewer and right clicking, and selecting properties. You may have to make another selection based on your viewer. As long as it’s an original file, the camera data should be there.

Summary:
Congratulations on your best score. You have a good eye. Keep shooting!
