Be honest...... if you asked 100 people: "What is the subject of this photo? What is the most important part of it?" How often you do think "human hands" or even "a hand" would be the answer? My guess is........1 (one) if you're really, really lucky. I do like the shot, but not so much for THIS challenge.

a tilted frame is often just a gimmick to add interest to an otherwise boring shot, but here I think it works really well, because it puts the viewer in the shoes of a visitor to the grave, tilting their head as they look down at the headstone

That's the 50mm stopped down to 1.8... It's a super sharp lens and I love it for that reason alone... Thanks everyone for the comments I really appreciate them. :)

This was very well done, one of the best of the lot of screaming children in the challenge. It seemed to be a popular theme, I guess a lot of us parents got had a quick association between loud and kids 8-)

On a technical note, I would have rather seen her left hand and hair in focus, I think the DOF was just a little too shallow.
