What a wonderful and interesting composition! I love the expression on the primary purple finch but the inclusion of the female (juvenile?) softly out of focus in the lower right corner...it's unusual but it works for me.

a little soft either from focus or camera movement. Having the second bird in the frame I would have moved them both to the left a bit so the whole bird on the right is in the frame even though he is out of focus. colors, contrast and saturation all look good.

The second bird in the corner distracts from your subject. A tighter crop, with your subject in the lower left corner looking across the frame, might have scored better.
