Pondering tomorrowby scottoComment by Jutilda: Nice one. I almost missed the guy sitting under the lamp post. The city is lovely with the rich evening colors. The leading line of the pier pull your eye right to the skyline. I wonder if you did a slight curves adjustment if it would enrich the colors just a bit. |

Tranquil productionby scottoComment by scotto: I used bracketing for this shot and I picked what I thought was the brighter clearer example. I will be doing more with the settings but off the camera and not through the softwear. Do you have any suggestion on settings. Thank you for your comments. |

Tranquil productionby scottoComment by glad2badad: This is an interesting shot. Nice use of lines, both man-made and natural (hills in background). Looks like the tonal range is a bit clipped...don't really have sharp whites or deep blacks. Did you try boosting the contrast and/or play with the levels a little?
Good eye for seeing this compositionally. Smile and keep having fun! ;^) |

Message for you.by scottoComment by scotto: This photo was taken at the Indiana tea room near Perth one afternoon. This great bird just flew up to me as if he knew me and wanted to give me a message, or he might of been after the chips I was eating. I am using the canon 17-85 image stabliser lens, I/200 exposure, 80 iso, f 3.5 and no flash. Taken on the 18/9/05. |

Message for you.by scottoComment by Jutilda: What a wonderful curious turn of the head expression. This has encapsulated a whole story with the people and building in the background. The detail of the rock and the bird - wow. What a terrific capture! |
