Moonriseby Len ScapComment by The_Dentist: The choice of placing the trees against the moon really sets this one apart from the other moon shots. Instantly reminded me on old horror movie posters, the elegant, "romantic" vampire version if you wish... 9 from me. |

Moonriseby Len ScapComment by jonfrommk: OK there may be one moon shot where the subject is slightly brighter and clearer but yours is still the best of its kind (imo) in the competition because of the wonderfully dramatic tree line silhouetted on it and the very clever implied leading diagonal line. Bumping to 9 great shot |

Moonriseby Len ScapComment by GUTomek: Great capture of the moon at that size. The boldness and angle of the trees make this shot and I like how you left the blackness to fill the remaining area of the frame. |

Moonriseby Len ScapComment by glasseye: I really like the silhouette of the trees. Reminds me a bit of the cover scene from the movie E.T. I almost expect to see a boy riding his bike across the frame. |

Contentmentby Len ScapComment by missykim: I agree, this is the epitome of contentment. Wish I were there. Nice looking putty-tat, eyes are nice and clear. |

Moonriseby Len ScapComment by Sachlichkeit: Nice composition, but I wish the moon was in focus. Try shooting with a 50mm prime focus lens...with the focus on infinity, you'll get a crisp tree line and a crisp moon. |
