He's adorable!! I agree with the others to blacken the background further. But you could also extract him in ps (mostly solid lines so it would be easy) and put him on a digital background of something halloweenish or fallish (maybe a pumpkin?).

Too cute Pat. Nice skin tones - looks like he has been running around and having a great time. I think I agree with Henk hajeka and would blacken out the whole of the background. This would also get rid of a bit of noise evident in the carpet area.
