A New Beginning by YomiComment by Gordon: wish you'd caught this with the flowers a bit lower so it wasn't covering their face - background could have enhanced this more than it does too, with the snow and the passers -by |

Coming out to get ya!by YomiComment by mcrochip: The Depth of Field here seems a bit shallow - the nose (?) of the snake is out of focus, and it doesn't look like it should be. I like the rest of the photo, especially the level of clarity of the snake's scales. |

Coming out to get ya!by YomiComment by Swashbuckler: Very scary! Good shot! Color seems very good. Focus is a narrow DOF, which works, but I would have preferred from the tip of his nose to eyes, rather than from the eyes back. In focus parts are very detailed. I really like the reflections in it's eye. Challenge met. 7 Swash |

Coming out to get ya!by YomiComment by KarenB: excellent macro! would like to see the tip of his nose in focus too, but the short dof beyond the eye is good. if the nose was in focus, I'd be jumping away from my monitor!!.. as it is.. I am skittish. |

Coming out to get ya!by YomiComment by mariomel: I would have liked to see the snake's nose(?) a little more in focus. Wider DOF would have helped, but narrow DOF is nice for the rest of the body. |

Coming out to get ya!by YomiComment by DougPaz: Couldn't you at least get him to smile?!? Would be fantastic for a texture challenge. I wish the DOF was just a bit wider, especially on his nose. |
