Interesting composition and very nice, rich colours. I think I would have preferred more DOF. Only the stem and lower 1/3 of the flower are really sharp. This is probably intentional, but to my taste, the image would have been more effective if more of the flower had been sharp.

Gorgous composition! One of the best flower shot I have ever seen! And I admit, I am not too keen on flower shots... But this one talks to me a lot! Bravo! My only negative comment is that I wish there was more visible and in focus texture on the petals from middle to top of the photo, like the texture we see from middle to bottom. But appart from that nick, just great! 8
