I like the b&w (high key?) treatment a lot. The biker on the left distracts me a bit, especially since the one on the right is so perfect. Nice job overall!

Creative. I thought you might enter something with circular OOF points :) You are definitely a macro master, and you're on my short list of favorite photographers. But what bothers me about this shot is the lighting on the spoon and table. IMO, it is too harsh. Many areas are "blown" to pure white. Although, of course, there's nothing necessarily wrong with that, it just isn't working for me on this shot. Personally, I would have used a more diffused light and taken care not to blow highlights. I think that would have given the shot a more pleasing, gentler feel (not to mention a more "professional", DPChallenge-voter-pleasing look!) But that's just me :)
