I'm not a huge fan of florals in the first place, and the speckled treatment this has been given just comes off looking strange to me. Sorry to be so harsh, but I'd rather leave an explanation to accompany a low side vote.

Well on resizing if I had gone to the 800x600 size I would have liked to use I would have been 200k to large in file size.. So it was a trade off to keep as much detail as possible and get it to meet all requirements.. An the photo is full size it was just resized and balanced.. An while I do crop on occasion to improve an aspect I generally get framed what I want and how I think it should be in the viewfinder before I click the shutter and seldom have to.. Being trained on film and having done freelance news an worked with 8 exposure Tri-pan to cover a story.. unlike with digital with its 1000 retrys I get what I want the first time.. I seldom retake a shot more than once.. Thanks for you input though but the photo is as it is and capture the cold of the night as i wanted it to.. Which was the idea..

Though a bit out of date, this tutorial will help you size photos correctly for maximum impact in challenge. Note that the size allowance now is 800 pixels on the long side and a max of 300K for the file size.

I'm afraid nothing about this shot really jumps out at me. Perhaps a different treatment could make a difference, but not really sure. You should also make sure to use the entire 800 pixels available. That could have certainly helped because this scene has a lot of fine detail that would benefit from the additional resolution.
