I love your introductory words with the quote which is bolstering up any doubter.
But you don't have to worry: your essay is certainly one of the most lovely songs in the woods.
I agree on Henry about #0041 - a stunning shot with so much energy!
I also love the sloping of the views - this make each shot even more vital. Truly enjoyable work!

fanby 2mccsComment by colorcarnival: This is a very cool looking abstract. It makes me wonder if I am looking at the actual fan or a painting. Plus I want to know more about the line leading to the doily circle in the top right corner. |

Perhaps a shroud? It is skeletal. It is substantial. It is flat at first viewing but becomes multi-dimensional. It is like a tunnel. The edge of an abyss. I too am a fan. |

You were both looking out windows, but in your photos the window is very much part of the photo. And this says a lot about you as an artist. It's very intimate to be so frank about what separates you from the world. We stand at the boundary.
Also, the individual photos in this collection are outstanding. The walking sunflare, the clouds painted on the glass. Stunning. |

Fashionably lateâ€Â¦ What an entrance!
Seriously, number 41 is arresting. The star burst, cutting him off at the waist, is so natural and the small detail on floor is the exclamation point. So I settle into my seat, begin this little journey and it̢۪s over so quickly. A beautiful series but I selfishly wanted more.
When I begin loosing interest in photography I often find myself pointing my camera at the low hanging sun. Loss of control and unpredictability, in photography, is so attractive. Shutter speeds so high I̢۪m hardly involved. It̢۪s a battle between sunlight and camera sensor.
Lovely inspirational work. Thanks Message edited by author 2017-11-11 18:40:33. |

IMG_6746by 2mccsComment by ubique: How I love your photographs. Not just these, all of them. We've been together here for more than a decade, and I think that I have given you more 10s and more enthusiastic comments than I have anyone else here. You have thrilled me so many times that I'm sick of it now. No, just kidding, I could never tire of what your pictures inspire in me. Tell you a secret; more than once (to be precise, twice) is has been looking at one of your photographs that re-ignited my passion for photographs when the lamp had gone out.
So what about this essay? The images are simply beautiful. Especially 40 and 41. They make me feel profoundly thrilled and I really can't express exactly why, which is for me a bonus because I love art that I can understand but not explain.
Thank you. |
